Bike course is altered from previous years. DUE to ROAD Construction.
There is a 1.2 mile section that riders will be on that has been MILLED and not yet resurfaced. This section is UNCOMFORTABLY ROUGH, but NOT "DANGEROUS ROUGH" it will be heavily marked and attended.
This starts at Bass Lake Rd and Cnty 77 for 1.2 miles. As this is not a CLOSED to traffic
course, please be observant. We will have officials stopping cars and informing them to give riders an even wider distance than normal from bike riders in an event.
The overall bike course dropped from 14 miles to 13 miles, because of this ROAD
CONSTRUCTION to minimize the Milled area. Sorry for the inconvenience for 2024. We can’t control MN roadwork and the timing that is dictated by weather. (lots of rain)
